The Association of the friends of Father Lagrange was set up on
November 15th 2007, on the feast day of
The aim of this
association is to present a plea for the beatification of Father Lagrange as
well as to make known the work and the spirituality of this intellectual and
mystical figure who was the founder of the Biblical School of Jerusalem which
opened on November 15th 1890.
Amongst the founding
members of the above mentioned Association are the Postulator of the preachers
and the vice-postulator, the Provincial of the Dominican Province of Toulouse
and the Provincial of the Province of France as well as the head of the
Biblical school of Jerusalem who is also representing the convent of Saint
Etienne and the French Biblical and Archaeological School of Jerusalem.
All those who hold
Father Lagrange in esteem can support the plea for his beatification through
prayer and donations which can be sent to the following address:

To become a member, the
subscription is of 20 euros. Upon request, a tax receipt can be sent for
donations exceeding 100 euros. (Checks must be
written to the order of the “Courrier de
l’Amitié Dominicaine” and sent to the Nice
